We didn't want to pay for parking so we parked further away and rode the Trax in. This was my first time on the Trax and I think this was one of the best events of the evening - I was so excited. I've gone on trains in Chicago, New York, London, Paris, etc. but for some reason the Trax was ridiculously thrilling.
We got to the game and had a great time. The half-time show was this group of older women who tap dance and do hip-hop [hopefully without breaking a hip]. They spotlighted the oldest lady who was 93. She did her little solo and jumped and landed in the splits. The entire Delta Center was screaming cheers and shocked gasps. I really wish I had video taped it. It was incredible.
The game was great, we won. I believe the Jazz are on a 8-game winning streak. Stephanie was cheering for Portland since she is from Oregon and the drunkards behind us were giving her a hard time about it. All in all, a great time with some great girls!

Oh fun!! I used to ride Trax everyday to work up at the U. It was great!! Seriously, how can you beat reading a good book for a 1/2 hour rather than fighting traffic...
93?! That is INSANE. Glad you had a fun girls' night out!
FUN!! I LOVED going to Jazz games! I'm so jealous!
Did you do this event as a birthday celebration?? (Did you think I forgot?) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
I hope you had lots and lots of fun!
