I'm debating if I should remove the privacy of my blog and have the comments posted after I've reviewed it. Does anyone even care? Does it make a difference?
I do that. My blog is open, but I have taked it off the google search, so those that know me will have it...and I can moderate the comments as I want. Also...are you going to change your blog address? ;) If you do, let us know first...so we can continue to follow your wonderful life!
right now mine is on private for a few months until i can be sure that my stalker ex-coworker has given up trying to find it and read it . . . but i plan to take it off private (and keep it off the google search also!) in a few months. my comments are always moderated, which makes a difference. but i'll read you even if i have to take a few extra clicks! :)
My blog was off google search AND my comments moderated and I still had some unknown, creepy chick following my blog, trying to make comments on my blog like as if we were BFFs, and who STILL is trying to view my blog, even though it's private now. I like being private, cause I know even if she tries, she can't get in. :) And she was only one out of who knows how many who actually made her presence known. I'm sure there are others like her out there that aren't voicing their creepiness. :) Just my two cents. :) But maybe I'm a bit of an over thinking worrier who watches too many unsolved mystery shows. :) I also think my worrying escalated a ton more once kids were in the mix.
